Sentai Filmworks has announced that they have licensed the anime of Norn9. For those unfamiliar with the Otamate series, we recently reviewed Norn9: Var Commons for the PlayStation Vita, which was released earlier this year by Aksys Games.
Sentai Filmworks has posted this about the story:
Based on the visual novel of the same name, the story follows a 12-year-old boy named Sorata Suzuhara who finds himself transported to an alternate time, and possibly a different world. Aboard the Norn, a giant spherical ship that acts as a miniature city, Sorata joins three girls and nine young men on a journey toward an unknown destination…
The anime will include the cast from the PSP game Norn9: Norn + Nonette and will be directed by Takao Abo, who has worked on Eureka Seven and Lunar Legend Tsukihime.
Otomate and Idea Factory will be releasing Norn + Nonette Act Tune for the PlayStation Vita in 2016.
