System Shock 3 SHODAN

Otherside Entertainment has launched a teaser site announcing System Shock 3, the sequel to System Shock 2, which was released by Night Dive Studios in 1999. Very little information has surfaced so far, such as platforms or a release window.

The site includes a survey that readers can answer in order to receive updates about the development. In addition to questions about whether readers have played the first two games, it asks what the reader’s preferred gaming platform is between PC, Mac, PS4 and Xbox One, as well as their interest in virtual reality gaming. Although this gives some indication about the direction they may take with System Shock 3, everything remains to be seen so far.

The survey also acts as a means to enter a contest Otherside Entertainment is holding where sixteen people who answer the survey before January 31, 2016 can win a print of SHODAN, the AI from the first two games. The prints will be done by Robb Waters, the concept artist for the System Shock series.
