Genei Ibun Roku #FE

Nintendo has unveiled a pretty extensive overview trailer of its upcoming crossover title with Atlus, Genei Ibun Roku #FE. The trailer starts out with new and extended versions of previously seen cinematics and anime cutscenes, before diving into various gameplay mechanics. Dungeons appear to be similar to those found in recent Persona games, with enemies out in the open and can be struck for a tactical advantage. The dungeons themselves are extremely detailed and seem to have puzzle elements to them.

Turn-based battles are also shown off, along with character growth. While the main party members level up, the Fire Emblem characters tied to them gain skills and can even be upgraded, similar to Personas. Finally, the Wii U Gamepad is shown off as the hub of the game world’s social media, and can be used to help the main character become closer to his fellow party members.

Genei Ibun Roku #FE is set to hit the Wii U in Japan on December 26. North America and Europe will have to wait until sometime in 2016.
