Pokémon distributions are second nature to Pokémon fans. We know a legendary or unique Pokémon is distributed for a limited time across a specific store either through Wi-Fi activity or through a distribution of codes. Usually these type of events take place at GameStop, Toys R Us, or another electronic speciality store and we will be……..wait a minute, the next U.S. event is at McDonald’s!!? No, your eyes are not playing tricks on you. Serebii.net has reported the legendary Pokémon, Hoopa, will be distributed across McDonald’s restaurants. This situation is unusual from what we have become accustomed to in the past. At least we can order a Big Mac with a side of fries and a coke as we get Hoopa on our 3DS systems. The event will take place from November 27th to December 23rd. There is no conformation if it will be distributed via Wi-Fi, through Nintendo Codes, or if a code is going to be given to customers. Hopefully, a purchase of an item will not be necessary.
What are your thoughts on this unusual situation? How do you think Hoopa’s distribution will be implemented inside McDonald’s restaurants? Share us your thoughts and reactions.
