There is good news for both fans of Pokémon and arcade games. Dave and Buster’s executive, Kevin Bachus, confirmed on reddit the arcade exclusive, Pokkén Tournament will be tested at several Dave and Buster’s locations. Kevin Bachus is highly optimistic for the game as he believes the game can draw business to the chain. He said, “Candidly both NAMCO and I are more optimistic about that title and our typical guests than Tekken,”. Pokémon is one of the biggest video game franchises today and has made an impact for over 20 years. If people are willing to go to Dave and Buster’s to play Star Wars: Battle Pod and Pac-Man Battle Royale, the same audience would likely go to Dave and Buster’s to play Pokkén Tournament. We do not have a conformation at this time a list of locations receiving the machine for a test session, but we hope the list of locations will be released sooner rather than later. The demand for the game has only grown since its release in Japan.

Will you be spending money on Pokkén Tournament if it comes to your local Dave and Buster’s? Are you exciting to see this game come to North America in the future? share us your thoughts and reactions below.
