Tembo Smash

Good news for fans of SEGA and Game Freak. Tomorrow, you will be able to get your hands on their latest unorthodox (read: not Pokémon) gem – Tembo the Badass Elephant! Those who pick it up early on Steam will get a 10% discount, and Playstation Plus and XBox Live Gold members will also be able to nab the hefty pachyderm for the same discount. If you pick the game up later, it will run for $14.99. The game itself features 18 levels and references lots of 80’s action movies, with tons of tongue in cheek humor.

Tembo Counter

While I understand the anger about this Game Freak title not being available on a Nintendo console, the fact that it is available on Steam makes it super accessible, so I won’t be complaining. Furthermore, some of the best games made by Game Freak, in my opinion, are those random out of nowhere titles like Drill Dozer and HarmoKnight, which both proved that the company can excel with something other than Pokémon titles. If you’re still on the fence about Tembo, then take a gander at the fancy new trailer below, and get ready to throw some money at the delightful looking game, which will be available on Steam, PS4 and XBox One tomorrow.
