oprainfall Plays Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory 2 (JP)
Nep’s back and better than ever

Hajememashite! (Hello!) Welcome to another episode of oprainfall Plays: Shin Jigen Neptune Victory II which will be known in the west most likely as Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II. Watch as we tackle not only our first Let’s Play, but also our first playthrough an import game.

Neptune once again seems to have gotten herself involved in some crazy adventure and has dragged Nepgear along for the ride. I put my very limited Japanese skills to the test as I try and figure out not only what’s going on but how to play the game, all to give you guys a taste of what Idea Factory International may be bringing us next year and possibly help some of you out who want to import this title.

Episode 12: I’m an idiot…

After the fight with Dark Purple, and getting Neptune and Nepgear’s goddess forms back, we return to base to find that I am an idiot and never equipped our new gear and weapons. With that revelation out of the way we talk to Seaman as another plot dump occurs where I make more assumptions based on my limited Japanese.

Uzume and Neptune have a talk on the roof where Neptune (I think) asks Uzume to return with her to her world. Uzume refuses saying she needs to stay here and protect the others who believe in her (once again I think).

After that, Seaman leads us to some kind of machine or server room, Nepgear of course being tech nut she is, instantly delves into the machinery and ignores everyone until the N-Gear starts going off and Histoire contacts us! During the following conversation Uzume meets Histoire and has a flash of remembrance at the mention of Planeptune and Historie, but little else. The conversation then turns towards getting the Nep sisters home, which Gear thinks she just might be able to do.
