Kill la Kill on Toonami | oprainfall

Your Saturday nights are about to get more action-packed and a lot more scantily-clad. Studio Trigger’s highly successful action anime series, Kill la Kill, will be premiering on Toonami on February 7th at 11:30 PM EST. The announcement was made by Aniplex of America at their Otakon Las Vegas panel.

Kill la Kill, which premiered in late 2013, is an action-packed story of revenge, struggle for power, and very, very tiny outfits. The series has gained a lot of good and bad press both, with its use of fanservice being the most controversial topic. However, the show is also known for its excellent animation, lightning-fast pace, and strong sense of humor. Toonami adding the show to its roster seems like a great move to bring new fans to the programming block.

Kill la Kill is currently available on both DVD and Blu-ray.
