Murasaki Baby is a PlayStation Vita title developed by Italian indie developer Ovosonico. If you were lamenting that gamers in North America wouldn’t get a chance to enjoy this game’s uniquely eerie aesthetic, here’s some good news for you: Murasaki Baby is making its North American debut alongside its European one this year.
Players will guide the purple-balloon toting Baby, a small girl who has become lost in a nightmarish landscape. It’s up to you to help keep her safe, as she has lost her mother and is all alone in this strange place. Murasaki Baby utilizes the Vita’s rear touch pad in order to change the scenery and the feel of the game itself.
Those of you lucky enough to be attending IndieCade East in New York City this month will be able to play the game for yourself PlayStation booth. Be sure to come back and let us know how it is.
