Fans of Mutant Mudds are probably very familiar with Treasurenauts, Renegade Kid’s latest endeavor headed to the 3DS eShop sometime later this year. If this is the first you’ve heard of the game…we’ve certainly mentioned it from time to time. After offering quite a bit of information about the game a short while ago, Jools Watsham promised a trailer would be released for the game sometime “very soon”, so we could see it in action.

Ladies and gentlemen: the moment has arrived. Feast your eyes upon a trailer filled with loot—literal and metaphorical. I won’t spoil a thing; see for yourselves!

Here’s a bit more, straight from the source:

The famous Treasurenauts™ have been marooned on a perilous, uncharted island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean — courtesy of Bad Pirate Pete. His terms for escape are simple: Collect $1,000,000 worth of treasure before he returns to the island, and offer it as payment for passage back to the mainland.

Treasurenauts™ is coming to the Nintendo eShop (3DS) soon!

What do you think about this new trailer? I know Renegade Kid is versatile, with titles like Bomb Monkey, ATV Wild Ride 3D and the up-and-coming Cult County… but I’m an absolute sucker for platformers filled with shiny things to grab. Let me know if you feel the same! We’ll offer more information about Treasurenauts as we have it.
