There’s seriously nothing like a perfectly executed plan. Whether it be a real-life situation or online with some of your favorite buddies; a well-implemented strategy is incredibly satisfying and rewarding. Swedish game developer Starbreeze Studios realized this when making their ever-popular crime/heist series Payday. Their second title in the series, Payday 2, released last year for PC as well as PS3 and Xbox 360. Today, however, Starbreeze announced a new addition to the game for next-gen audiences.
Payday 2: Crimewave Edition is currently in development for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. In their announcement, Starbreeze Studios stated that Payday 2: Crimewave Edition features the “ultimate experience” for fans of the game. While the details on what makes this the ultimate package are slim, they did reveal that the graphics will be enhanced, a slew of new content will be added, and the overall stability of the game will be improved. A release date hasn’t been revealed yet, but we’ll let you all know as soon as one is given.
