Soul Calibur Feature - oprainfall

In the latest issue of Famitsu, we learned that Soul Calibur: Lost Swords is heading to the PlayStation 3. This version of Soul Calibur will be a bit different, since it will be free to play. Included among the characters will be Siegfried and Mitsurugi. Other sources have confirmed that it will be a Sony exclusive and will be available in Europe as well as Japan, with a North American release also being very likely.

Nothing else is known about the game at this time, but speculation is that a small group of fighters will be available in the free-to-play game, and you will have to purchase any additional fighters. Again, that is only speculation based on what Namco Bandai has done recently. No news yet on a Vita or PlayStation 4 version of the game.

We will keep you up to date on any further news about the game. Would you be interested in a free-to-play Soul Calibur game if it involves buying fighters, or would you rather just purchase the game in its entirety?
