Digimon Adventure

It seems Digimon fans have something to cheer about. Netflix has made the first two seasons of the Digimon anime available for streaming. Viewers can now watch both Digimon Adventure and Digimon Adventure 02 in either the original Japanese with subtitles or dubbed into English.

This is the first time the original Japanese version of Digimon Adventure has been available in the US. Previously, Digimon Adventure 02 and the third season, Digimon Tamers, were available for streaming on Crunchyroll and other places in subtitled format, but the episodes have since been pulled.

Anime distributor New Video Group has released the first three seasons of Digimon on DVD in dub-only format, with season four, Digimon Frontier, to be released on September 10.

Coincidentally, in the oprainfall Campaign Hub, a new campaign was just launched to convince Namco Bandai to localize Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode, a 3DS remake of Digimon World for the original PlayStation. Go ahead and check that out, as well.

Every season of Digimon is also available on Amazon.com and Amazon.ca:
