Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition

Console owners were able to get a sweet deal on Dark Souls earlier this week. But worry not PC gamers; you won’t be left out in the cold. From today through to Christmas, Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition (PC version) will be on sale at Amazon. Normally priced at 39.99$, for a limited time it’s dropped to an extremely low price of 14.99$. I don’t think it can get any better then that!

While fans and critics alike say that the port wasn’t in the greatest of shape, we all have to remember that this was done after fans gave a list of good, legitimate reasons on why the game should be ported to PC. It was never intended to be on the PC and was made only with consoles in mind. After experiencing the port myself, I can say it’s still fully playable, enjoyable, and with a controller in hand it can still be a version ideal for those who only own a PC/laptop. Though the online portion is most likely still plagued with cheaters who use hacks & trainers to get an edge on other players, they in the end only ruin the fun for others and for themselves. You can probably find honest players online as I have not too long ago, so not all hope is lost.
