In a time not forgotten (last week), two groups of heroes collided with each other to see who was the superior being. However, their fates were not just their decision, ultimately they depended on mythical, Internet, gods (you lot) to vote on who you thought should be the winners. Judgement has been passed, the votes have been counted and verified and so now it is time for: ‘Character Battle: The Results!’

First of all, OpRainfall would just like to say a BIG thank you to everyone that voted. Collectively we received over 1,300 votes, which shows us that this was a very popular article and is a series that we would like to continue. If you have any suggestions on ‘Character Battles’ you would like to see, then please let us know in the comments. We’d really appreciate it because you guys ROCK!!

Anyway, enough of the sentiments, let’s get onto the the results:

RESULT 1: The Hero

Unsurprisingly the battle of the ‘heroes’ garnered the most votes. Like the soggy-vampire series ‘Twilight‘, they’re two distinct support groups for the heroes of Xenoblade Chronicles and The Last Story – Team Shulk and Team Zael. Unlike that terrible vampire series, Shulk and Zael deserve the support.

Unfortunately there can only be one winner; it was pretty close, but with 58% of your votes the winner is…

SHULK

The Monado wielding, foresight seeing, moppy haired protagonist takes the crown of ‘Best Hero’.

RESULT 2: The Love Interest

An interesting vote as both candidates were neck and neck, taking turns of being in the lead, for the duration of the vote. There was a lot of love for Fiora and Calista, but one filly pipped the other to the post and with 52% of the vote the winner is…

CALISTA

The Lazulis, lullaby humming, Princess beats Fiora to winning the title of ‘Best Love Interest.’

RESULT 3: The Leader

Dunban and Dagran went head to head to win the highly acclaimed title of ‘Best Leader’, but one of them was clearly more favoured than the other. With 69% of the vote, the winner is…

DUNBAN

The astute talking, one armed warrior decimated Dagran to become the winner of ‘Best Leader.’

David Rawlings
David Rawlings, or ‘Rawky’ as we like to call him, joined the Operation Rainfall Campaign at the beginning. He’s British and found solace with us as he was able to understand our pain about Nintendo and their localizing faux pas. He’s a big fan of the letter ‘U’ and refuses to remove them from words, even though we constantly ask him to. He also believes it’s about time Princess Daisy got kidnapped.
