Jett Rocket II Website Is Launched

Shin’en Multimedia, developers behind games like Nano Assault and Art of Balance, has launched the website for Jett Rocket II: The Wrath of Taikai. Formerly known as Jett Rocket: Super Surf, the game has not received a rating from any of the ratings boards. However, given this development, we should expect to see this game on the 3DS eShop sometime soon.

Jett Rocket II is a sequel to the original Jett Rocket game for WiiWare. While that game showed great quality in its production value, it was often criticized for being too short. So here’s hoping we get that same quality in this new iteration and an expansion of what made the original game great.

For now, here’s a look at what we can expect from the game. From what I can tell, the platforming will be in similar styles to recent Mario games, like Super Mario 3D Land.

The battle between Jett Rocket and his archrival Kaiser Taikai is coming soon. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.

wow! this game looks so good. i should probably get the first one and then get this one. how come is not coming out on the wiiU eshop?

  I believe the 3DS and Wii U use different programming languages, which would make it difficult for smaller companies like Shin’en to develop one game for both consoles.
