It’s time once again to review one of Cherry Kiss Games’ nukige releases. This one is called Lonely Catgirl is the Purrfect Pussy, and they really should get an award for these names alone. Just like the title I previously reviewed, Tails and Titties: Hot Spring, this is one of their more vanilla titles. Sometimes I needs some sweet loving to break up all of the other crazy games I review. At any rate, let’s take a look at this purrfectly named title and see if its worth your coin.

Lonely Catgirl | Rin

The story here begins as our protagonist is running home in the rain. He comes across a starved and shivering catgirl along the road. He decides to carry her back to his home to get her warm, and give her some food at the very least. When she awakens she is very afraid of him, because some other humans have been very mean to her. It doesn’t take her long to open up to you after you treat her with some love and care. This begins the story of our young protagonist and the love of his life, a catgirl named Rin.

Lonely Catgirl | Want

The story here is a straightforward romance between a man and his catgirl. Rin is just a plain sweetheart, and you will fall in love with her instantly. She is very eager to pay back our protagonist for his kindness in various wonderful ways. This leads to the game’s 15 H-scenes, which are all very vanilla with nothing extreme about them at all. That said, if you want some good quality ero scenes with those signature Norn sound effects, you’re in luck here.

Lonely Catgirl | Cheer

The art in Lonely Catgirl is the Purrfect Pussy is well done. Rin uses a variety of outfits during the game to add a bit of flavor to their extracurricular activities. These have a good amount of detail, and the overall quality of the CG scenes is great. The backgrounds are all pretty basic, but they get the job done. When you complete the game, you can view any of the CG images or replay any scene you want from the menu. This is a pretty standard feature in a visual novel, but it is worth mentioning here.

Lonely Catgirl | Smile

While Lonely Catgirl is the Purrfect Pussy isn’t the deepest title out there, it is pretty entertaining. Rin is very cute, and while this one is mostly about the H-scenes, she is a great character. The game lasts about three or fours hours, so you can easily read it in one sitting. At the end of the day, if you love catgirls and like nukige with a lot of vanilla scenes, then this one is well worth the $9.99 price tag. If you’re looking for something with a bit more edge, you may want to check out some of Cherry Kiss Games’ Miel releases. Some of those can really be a ride on the wild side.

About Steve Baltimore

Steve started with oprainfall not long after the campaign moved from the IGN forums to Facebook. Ever since, he has been fighting to give all non-mainstream RPGs a fair voice. As the site admin, he will continue to do this and even show there is value in what some would deem "pure ecchi." He loves niche games and anime more than anything... well, except maybe Neptune.
