The final Nintendo Download of April has three featured games, beginning with some Pokémon photography. Nintendo has also released an online multiplayer update for Super Mario Party and a free demo for Miitopia.

 

Featured Games


New Pokémon Snap ($59.99) is launching today. Jump into the NEO-ONE, your travel pod, to venture through lush environments. Photograph Pokémon and research the mysterious Illumina phenomenon, where some Pokémon and even vegetation seems to possess an odd glow. All the while you’ll be filling out your Pokémon Photodex.

 

Next up, R-Type Final 2 ($39.99) is also arriving on the Switch eShop today. It is the first new game in the franchise in over a decade. Equip your R-Type fighter with an arsenal of familiar weapons and new ones. Use them to blast your way through hordes of Bydo and eliminate the threat they pose!

 

The Apex Legends – Legacy update will arrive on May 4th, bringing with it a permanent new game mode (Arenas), a new Legend (Valkyrie), and a new Battle Pass. The new Arenas mode brings 3 on 3 Battle Royale matches. As for the new Legend, you can meet her in this new trailer:

The last Nintendo Download of April sees a more active sales scene. Several offers we’ve covered last week or earlier are still on, including the 30% discount on the NES controllers for Switch Online members, the My Nintendo Gold Points Special Offer, and the Famicom Detective Club games offer. However, the Ubisoft Irresistible Deals Event is about to end.

We have several new single item sales featured this week, including the Amnesia: Collection ($8.99 | $29.99), the Blizzard Arcade Collection ($16.99 | $19.99), the Capcom Arcade Stadium: Ghosts ‘n Goblins DLC ($0.99 | $1.99), and the Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate Add-On Bundle ($24.99 | $49.99).
