Ziggurat Interactive is a publisher of both modern and retro games. They have now decided to start a new monthly game launch program called “Retro First Friday”. On the first Friday of each month, they will release some games that have never been available on digital platforms before. These titles will be at a discounted price, too! Keep reading to find out more about the first batch that launched today. They’re goal is to bring classic games to as many gamers as possible. Ziggurat Interactive CEO, Wade Rosen, had this to say in the press release:

“Retro First Friday is our commitment to the retro community that we’ll be putting out meaningful content month-in and month-out. This was an initiative that’s been in the works for some time, however, we waited until we were sure we could deliver on our promise for years to come. We want to thank the community for the support over the last year and we hope we can make a meaningful contribution to the appreciation of retro gaming.”

As today is the first Friday of this month, they have started by releasing the following games in the first “Retro First Friday” event. The links below go to the Steam page for each game:

Head into the depths of a virtual forest to face over 220 challenging missions in Hunting Unlimited 1. You could also take on the role of a leader in the French Resistance during World War II to capture a heavily armed Third Reich train, your goal being to stop it from smuggling artifacts in The Train: Escape to Normandy.

Michael Fontanini
Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
