oprainfall | Hero must die. again

Degica Games has announced that fantasy anti-RPG, Hero Must Die. Again, is coming in spring 2020! You are the hero, but something is strange… The last thing you recall is fighting Guile and saving the world. However, it would seem that you somehow died while doing so, and you can no longer remember the one for whom you took on the demon by yourself. However, it is due to your great deed that the gods have given you just five short days. You must get your affairs in order, as you are growing weaker with each passing day. Time is not on your side, but maybe you can still find out what happened.

Hero must die. Again starts you out at your peak strength and has you grow weaker. This is in contrast to most games, where you would instead grow in power as you progress. There are eight unique heroines for players to woo, and each has their own personality and motivations. Players will visit a world they have already saved, where you must resolve its remaining problems as time takes its toll on your strength. There are more than 50 different funeral endings depending on what you have accomplished before the clock runs out.

According to the press release, Hero must die. Again is coming to PC (Steam), Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4 in spring 2020. They have also released a teaser video for everyone to check out:

About Michael Fontanini

Michael is a veteran gamer in my early 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES and SNES. He loves Nintendo but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks or bike rides, and loves animals.

Michael is also a computer programmer. This started with a toy he got as a kid called PreComputer 1000 that was made by V-Tech. It had a simple programming mode which is what started him down the road of being a programmer! Michael can program in BASIC, Visual Basic, C++, C#, and is familiar with Java and Lua Script.

Putting programming and gaming together, Michael became a hobbyist game developer which may give him some good insights on game development! Most recently, he has been playing with the free version of the Unity engine (a powerful and easy-to-use game engine).

I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
