Sentai Filmworks announced in a press release earlier today that they have acquired worldwide rights (except for Asia) to Mysteria Friends. The animated series is produced by Cygames Pictures, and it was adapted from Mysteria Academy, a popular event that was featured in the mobile game, Rage of Bahamut.

The animated series highlights Anne (the runaway royal), and Grea (the dragon-born girl). These fan favorite characters are voiced by Yoko Hikasa and Ayaka Fukuhara respectively. Yoko Hikasa is also known for Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? and GATE. On the other hand, Ayaka Fukuhara is additionally known for Trinity Seven and Battle Girl High School.

The highly anticipated Mysteria Friends animated series will pull back the curtains on the Mysteria Magic Academy, an unusual place where humans, gods, and demons all mix freely. The series will premiere starting in January of 2019 on select streaming platforms. Sentai Filmworks is a leading supplier of anime and official anime merchandise on the global scene. They also curate a very diverse library of classic and trending titles alike, on both traditional and digital platforms. You can find out more about Sentai Filmworks at their official website.

Michael Fontanini
Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
