Well guys, it’s Thursday, which means time for another Nintendo Download. This week may not be as interesting to me as the past few, but there’s still a great and diverse assortment of games, including one I never thought I’d see on a Nintendo console. Additionally, there’s some good sales, new activities and an assortment of worthy new digital contenders. Let’s see what’s worth playing!

Nintendo Download | Dark Souls: Remastered

I’ll be the first to admit I’m not sold on the appeal of brutally hard games (other than brutally hard platformers and twin-stick shooters), but many folks absolutely love them. Which is why it might excite said people that Dark Souls: Remastered is coming out tomorrow. Besides now featuring amiibo integration and Nintendo Switch Online features, this remake also has the main game plus DLC quest Artorias of the Abyss. Not a bad value for fans old and new. If you’re more interested in something strange, how about a party game full of angry cubes? That is none other than Zarvot, with a name as strange as the premise. This is a truly peculiar concept, so if you’re hankering for something weird, you can check Zarvot out starting today.

Nintendo Download | SINNER

Finally, let’s gloss over the newest digital offerings. The first two are coming out next week. One is classic game Windjammers, now coming to the Switch with new features and HD menus. The other is a game that’s technically out now, called Just Shapes & Beats. But the demo version is out next week, for those who want to try before you buy. With those out of the way, let’s see what’s out this week.

Nintendo Download | Count Bout

For some retro goodness, you might want to check out ACA NEOGEO Count Bout and Spencer. For atmospheric adventures, there’s The RoomThe MISSING and Syberia 3.
