The playable demo for Square Enix’s throw-back RPG Lost Sphear is now available in North America and Europe. Fans can download the free demo on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC’s Steam.

Tokyo RPG Factory’s second title features the adventures of Kanata and his band of friends in traditional RPG fashion. The gameplay revolves around Artefacts to restore Memories to customize your game experience and advance the story. Each character also boasts their own special attack, known as Paradigm Drives.

Lost Sphear‘s demo has been available in Japan for a while and the full game launched in October. It launches in the west on January 23rd at retail and digitally. Should you pre-order from the Square Enix store, you’ll net two music tracks from the soundtrack ahead of launch.
