Frontwing has made two major announcements at their AX 2017 panel. The first one title is called  “Wonderful Everyday” this is the English localization of developer KeroQ’s title “Subarashiki Hibi ~Furenzoku Sonzai~”

Here is a a lot more information about this title straight from the press release:

“Wonderful Everyday” is an adult-oriented visual novel, produced and written by SCA-DI, which features dark themes and heavy philosophical explorations. The story follows the lives of Yuki Minakami, Zakuro Takashima, Takuji Mamiya, and others, during the weeks leading up to a significant event in all of their lives. The English release of “Wonderful Everyday” is hotly anticipated, and the original Japanese “Subarashiki Hibi” consistently ranks among the top titles on visual novel databases and ranking sites.

The first chapter of “Wonderful Everyday”, “Down The Rabbit-Hole”, is planned to be released on Steam in late August at a price point of $29.99 USD. The remaining content of the game will be available at no cost in the form of a free adult content patch, which expands the Steam release to the full version of the game. The resolution of the game has been increased from its original release; additionally, the game will feature no mosaic censorship, and assets have been redrawn to accommodate this change.

Physical copies of the full version of the game, along with other goods, will be made available through a Kickstarter campaign planned to be launched by Frontwing on July 10. The campaign will feature a wide variety of original merchandise, as well as numerous tiers containing exclusive items signed or drawn by the original Japanese artists and developers. A Prefundia page for the campaign has launched, and can be accessed from the following URL:

Note that Frontwing has removed one CG and around 19 lines of text out of the 400 line total from one set of scenes involving bestiality.  I will link to the removed CG, but note IT IS VERY NSFW AND DOES CONTAIN BESTIALITY YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Click here to view it.

Next up we have Momoiro Closet, this is an erotic first party title being aimed at those that love Otaku culture.  You can check out the full press release below for more information.

“Momoiro Closet” is planned to be an adult-oriented erotic visual novel mainly aimed at “otaku”, and general fans of contemporary Japanese popular culture. The protagonist of the game, Kagamihara Alice, is both her school’s student council president, as well as a member of the National Diet. However, she has a well-hidden secret – she’s actually a hardcore otaku! After a chance encounter with Hashima Reiji at a shop in Akihabara, the two begin to grow close, sharing both their hobbies, and eventually their fetishes with one another.

“Momoiro Closet” is a lighthearted romance title with a charming cast of characters, plenty of humor, and numerous scenes both risqué and outright explicit throughout the game. The title also features a fictional TV anime series, “Frill & Lace”, created as an homage to recent popular “magical girl” anime series. “Momoiro Closet” is planned to contain multiple routes, both English and Japanese text display, and Japanese voice acting. The title will feature artwork from INO and a story from Yuhi Nanao, and the localization is being handled by Frontwing’s in-house localization team. The release format is not yet decided, but a full adult version of the game is expected to be made available worldwide both digitally and physically by Q1 2018. Further details will be forthcoming as the project moves into later stages of developments.

About Steve Baltimore

Steve started with oprainfall not long after the campaign moved from the IGN forums to Facebook. Ever since, he has been fighting to give all non-mainstream RPGs a fair voice. As the site admin, he will continue to do this and even show there is value in what some would deem "pure ecchi." He loves niche games and anime more than anything... well, except maybe Neptune.
