Total War: WARHAMMER II

Creative Assembly has announced the release date for Total War: WARHAMMER II, the next entry in its fantasy-strategy series. Set in an entirely new part of the WARHAMMER world, the game is set to launch on September 28th, 2017. The game was of course playable on the E3 show floor today.

The game has three editions. The Limited Edition includes the same metal case and the Insider Guide that are in the Serpent God Edition. You can preorder the standard edition on Steam. The Limited Edition is not available just yet. The very rare Serpent God Edition is exclusively available here. Here’s the original announcement trailer for Total War: WARHAMMER II:

If you preorder the game through a Sega-approved retailer before launch or pick up the game during the first week sale will net you extra goodies for the original game. This Early Adopter Bonus comes in the form of the yet-to-be-revealed Race Pack DLC for the original Total War: WARHAMMER. This DLC will be out before Total War: WARHAMMER II is released.

Sega’s Correction

The press release says that one of the goodies that comes with Total War: WARHAMMER II is a Saurus Blade Necklace with hidden 8GB USB. This is in error as the USB stick is actually 4GB, and NOT 8GB. Sega apologizes for the error.

About Michael Fontanini

Michael is a veteran gamer in my early 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES and SNES. He loves Nintendo but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks or bike rides, and loves animals.

Michael is also a computer programmer. This started with a toy he got as a kid called PreComputer 1000 that was made by V-Tech. It had a simple programming mode which is what started him down the road of being a programmer! Michael can program in BASIC, Visual Basic, C++, C#, and is familiar with Java and Lua Script.

Putting programming and gaming together, Michael became a hobbyist game developer which may give him some good insights on game development! Most recently, he has been playing with the free version of the Unity engine (a powerful and easy-to-use game engine).

I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
