Dragon Quest VIIGameXplain recently uploaded a 20-minute gameplay demonstration for the remake of Dragon Quest VII on the Nintendo 3DS. Along with Nintendo employee Rob Watters, they show off a plethora of features including dungeons, vocations and what has changed for the remake. You can watch the footage below, including a new trailer uploaded by Nintendo.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past is a Nintendo 3DS exclusive title and will be released in the West on September 16 of this year.

      Yeah, really looking forward to this one! And since it’s very famous for being a long game, it will definitely be worth it.

      When I cleared it on the PS1 (which I still own those two discs) my save file was over 200 hours. And I didn’t even remotely master every job or do everything that I could. It’s bloody massive. They did make some changes to make it more accessible. But I would bet that it’s still enormous.

      I was probably 70 hours in when I got hopelessly lost after missing a puzzle piece and not having a clue where to find it. Can’t wait to give it another go with some streamlining.
