In an exclusive Operation Rainfall with Spike Chunsoft, the company let us know that the Danganronpa series won’t be the only title getting the PC treatment.

Danganronpa 2 | Chiaki Difficulty

When asked how Danganronpa 2 was received after it’s recent Steam release, David Kracker hinted, “You might even see something out of us that’s not a visual novel!” Additionally, when asked about the companies future goals, Kracker responded, “And of course, our plans for Steam.”

So what could the company be planning for a Steam release? Let us know in the comments below.

Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair is available now on PC via Steam.

  • Klagmar

Wouldn’t this indicate Ultra Despair Girls coming to Steam?

    • Nagato

I wouldn’t limit it to just that; at this point it seems safe to assume that every game they develop or publish in Japan will make it to Steam.

    • Klagmar

True, but the question was about Danganronpa specifically and they answered they’d bring something that’s not a visual novel. Ultra Despair Girls at least seems likely.

    • azariosays

i wouldn’t mind UDG on the PC

    • Or it could be a new spinoff.

    • Panpopo

Yeah that would be my guess too, but I wouldn’t mind any of the games mentioned in that interview being ported to Steam.

  • Audie Bakerson

    How about Kenka Bancho?
