The Muv-Luv Team wants to bring this long running visual novel to the West and they are using KickStarter to do it. Muv-Luv began in 2003 and had it’s most recent release titled Muv-Luv Alternative in 2006. The company is asking for $250,000 and at the time of this article they have already surpassed that goal. The franchise has also seen a manga and anime adaptations over the years.

The story of Muv-Luv focuses heavily on science fiction and adds in some high school romance and comedy that visual novel otakus always enjoy. The Muv-Luv trilogy tells the story of Shirogane Takeru as he faces love, heart ache, and loss told through a gripping story.

Each addition to Muv-Luv is a sequel to the next, so Western fans we’ll be excited to hear that they finally have a chance to help bring this series over to experience an amazing story that some have been waiting to be localized for years.
