Oreshika Featured

You’ll probably recall about a week ago that I wrote an article about Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines coming to the West sometime soon. Well, exchange soon for today, and you’re got a winner! It is a RPG with a beautiful brush painting style set to a dark tale of revenge. The story will focus on one of two clans set out to avenge themselves in the backdrop of feudal Japan.

Players will have access to 8 different classes, each with unique strengths and weaknesses. For those who can’t make up their mind, there is also an option to leave the decision making to your advisor, Kōchin. You will set out to explore exotic lands, combat demons and discover powerful gods. Speaking of which, those who purchase it this week will get access to two powerful gods, and advantage that can only be acquired this way. Best of all, the game is estimated to have some 100 hours of gameplay, offering a great value for $19.99.

So clear up your memory card, cause Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines is a hefty download of 2.8 gigs. If you can’t make up your mind, check out the awesome trailer below!

I really don’t like digital-only releases on Vita. Even with a 32GB memory card I don’t have enough space for all my games, and that was over 80 bucks.

But this game looks awesome so I will end up buying it anyway. I just wont be able to play it until I clear some already pruned space.

I constantly have the same problem haha. But I do love the style, and barring disastrous controls, I think I will enjoy the hell out of it.
