Resident Evil HD Remake
Careful, you never know what could be waiting behind that door…

Capcom has announced that the Resident Evil Remastered Edition will arrive in both North America and Europe on January 20th, 2015. You will be able to download this remaster of the game on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC for $19.99. This is not the only Resident Evil title Capcom is working on for 2015 though. Resident Evil: Revelations 2’s first episode is slated to launch on February 17th, 2015. So 2015 is looking to start off with plenty of Resident Evil for fans to enjoy.

If I’m going down, I’m taking you with me!

The game will include some new features, such as 1080p resolution on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions. Other new features include 5.1 surround sound, and the player can play in 4:3 or 16:9 (widescreen) screen ratios. The remastered edition also features a new control scheme, but you can still play using the original control scheme, too, if you want. These are very welcome options, and great additions to the game. If you are a fan of the Resident Evil series, you might want to add this game to your ever-growing library of games.

Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
