Couldn’t stay up late for the Electronic Arts conference? Live in Europe but had to go to work and couldn’t see it? That’s okay. We’ve got you covered with our recap of the happenings at Gamescom. Here’s what EA had in store.

Dragon Age: Inquisition | Electronic Arts (EA) Gamescom 2014

The conference started with an extended demonstration of Dragon Age Inquisition. BioWare calls it the largest game they’ve ever built and looks to immerse gamers in the experience. They also promise over 1 million combinations in terms of character customization as you create the leader of the inquisition. The game will feature the ability to directly control companions while your character leads the charge. You can also use a “tactical camera” to plot your strategy in battle. Dragon Age Inquisition will release on November 18th in North America and November 20th in Europe.

Up next was Titanfall with more content coming to the game. A new map pack called IMC Rising will be releasing later this fall. The team behind it looks to add more content as the game releases alongside Xbox One in new markets.

After that, we start looking at the sports games, with NHL 15 up first. They want to bring even more immersion to the game, which includes how they look at physics, how the fans act during the game, how players will control play, and even live-action recordings of NBC commentators Mike “Doc” Emrick and Eddie Olczyk. The game will launch on September 9th in North America and September 12th in Europe.
