Map Battle | Tales of Zestiria

Bandai Namco Games has certainly not been shy about showing off screenshots of their new action RPG Tales of Zestiria. Now they’ve released in-game footage of the field map and a look at the “real map battle” feature mentioned in a recent Shonen Jump article.

In the video, you can see how you and your party immediately enter battle on the world map when you encounter an enemy. There’s also a demonstration of the game’s Kamui fusion technique. And instead of only one character on the field at a time, you are followed by party members and are able to interact with them.

Bandai Namco has also released a video of Sorey (formerly known as Slay) interacting with Mikleo and Lailah.

Tales of Zestiria is coming to the PlayStation 3 in Japan in 2015.
