Attack on Titan for 3DS - oprainfall

Well, if you were disappointed by the Attack on Titan online browser game that was just announced, you’ll be excited to know the Attack on Titan series will also be getting an entry on the 3DS. The game is being developed by Spike Chunsoft and will be released in Japan later this year. Although this is exciting news, this isn’t a huge surprise as we found out early last month that an Attack on Titan game was in the works.

Unfortunately, other than the fact that the game is on 3DS and that it will be released this year, no other details have been shared yet. More information about the game will be coming in the next issues of Bessatsu Shonen Magazine which will be out on September 9th.

Attack on Titan is an ongoing manga series written by Hajime Isayama which has spun off into an anime series. Both the manga and anime have earned a ton of popularity in Japan and in the West. The series centers around Eren Yeager, his adopted sister Mikasa, and their friend Armin, who live in a dystopian future where humanity must live behind huge walls to avoid being eaten by Titans. The story begins when the walls of their city are breached, and their lives are forever changed as they enlist in the army to battle the Titans themselves.

If you’re interested in the anime, hop over to Crunchyroll where it’s currently streaming. Stay tuned for more news about the upcoming game!
