October is almost history, Halloween is just a day away, and its time for the latest edition of Nintendo Download. We have seven featured titles to check out today. Also, for those looking forward to Zelda: Breath of the Wild‘s prequel spin off, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, Nintendo has just released an exciting playable demo on the Switch eShop.

Featured Games

First up, we have Pikmin 3: Deluxe, which launches tomorrow (Friday, October 30th). This new deluxe version adds new side missions starring Olimar and Louie, giving us a glimpse of what they were up while the three new captains went about their adventure in the original game. They’ve also added new difficulty options to the game, and all DLC stages from the original Wii game are included, as they should be. The game will cost you the usual $59.99, and a free demo is available to download.

Next up, we have a pair of games, No More Heroes ($17.99 | $19.99), and an HD remaster of the sequel, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle ($17.99 | $19.99). In the first game, Travis Touchdown takes on the world’s top 10 assassins with his beam katana after being ranked #11 in the UAA (United Assassins Association). In the second game, which takes place three years later, he has fallen from UAA rank #1 all the way to #51. Furthermore, assassin Skelter Helter swears revenge against him for his brother’s death! So he must break out his trusty beam katana and head into battle once more. No More Heroes 3 is also coming to the Switch, though no specific release date is available yet.

We also have Control Ultimate Edition – Cloud Version (free download). This third-person action adventure has won over 80 awards. It will keep you immersed with a mix of open-ended environments and Remedy Entertainment’s signature world-building and storytelling.

The next featured game in today’s Nintendo Download comes from HAL Laboratory, the people behind the Kirby series. It is Part Time UFO ($8.99), a colorful adventure where you are a cute UFO. You’ll do all sorts of helpful part-time jobs, like dishing up sweets, building a castle, and fishing. Two people can work together as well.

Another of Nintendo’s featured titles today is Jurassic World Evolution: Complete Edition ($59.99), which is launching on November 3rd. The game puts you in the seat of a park designer to build your very own incarnation of the infamous Jurassic Park on the islands of Cinco Muertes Archipelago. Manage your park, research and unlock new dinosaurs to add to its majesty, and take on ground and aerial challenges. As you build out your park, just try not to get everyone killed! Or do, its up to you.

Last but not least, we round out today’s Nintendo Download featured section with Bakugan: Champions of Vestroia ($49.99). Set to launch on November 3rd, the action RPG expands on the hit TV series with a new, original story. This is also Bakugan‘s first appearance on the Switch. Your adventure will see you make friends with powerful creatures and customize your teams for the strategic battles that lie ahead. You’ll need to master your skills if you want to be the Champion of Vestroia, though.

Nintendo is featuring the latest Pokémon Sword/Shield DLC. The new DLC comes as part of the expansion pass for either game, and adds a new area known as The Crown Tundra for players to explore. Michael Fontanini
Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
