Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut box art

The new trailer for Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut is filled with chills and thrills, as we are introduced to mind-bending footage dedicated to the grotesque and surreal, as well as multiple scenarios of sipping prophetical hot coffee.

Seeing as how many improvements have been made to make this game more accessible than before, people who were put off by the game the first time may be given another chance to try it out for themselves.

This new trailer makes some of the updates more clear, as we can finally see some of its features put into motion for the Director’s Cut. Those who have played the original game before will have plenty of surprises waiting, for there will be exclusive content that has not been seen in the previous release, such as new and additional scenes, and multiple costumes. The updated controls will add a lot of polish and comfort for newcomers and veterans alike, and the added scenarios should offer some clarity for the main story. The updated visuals should also be a treat, as the game can look more visually appealing than in its previous release. It appears not too much has changed, though, which should have been a given thing, due to the very nature and atmosphere of this game.

Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut will be available in stores exclusively for the PS3 at April 26, 2013 in Europe, and April 30 in North America. Rising Star Games serves as publisher. Both release dates are nearing very soon, with exclusive pre-order deals that you can take advantage of here.
