Super Metroid Symphony Strings

Today is the 19th anniversary of the release of Super Metroid, and Joypad Records has released the Super Metroid Symphony.  Originally composed by Kenji Yamamoto and Minako Hamano, the soundtrack has been rearranged by the Blake Robinson Synthetic Orchestra.  There are 30 tracks in all with a one-hour playing time.

The album is available for purchase now via Loudr and iTunes, and previews of each track are available on the Super Metroid Symphony web site.  Joypad Records also released a trailer for the album, linked below.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ll be listening to the prologue on repeat for the rest of the night.
