Fragile Dreams

The atmospheric and underrated Wii title Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon is currently available directly from XSEED Games’ online store for $20. XSEED announced the sale on the games Facebook page.

From Facebook post:

We’ve noticed quite a bump in love to Fragile Dreams recently, so we thought we’d share an easy way to find the title, directly from us! Fragile Dreams is available on our online store for $20- this includes shipping, so you’re completely set. We ship everywhere within the United States and Puerto Rico, so we hope you have an interest in this gorgeous labor of love for the Wii!

Released in North America back in 2010, Fragile Dreams mixes elements of survival horror and 3D platforming to tell the story of a young boy named Seto, who is seemingly the last person alive in a post-apocalyptic Tokyo. As Seto, players must search out other survivors and clues for the reason of a world without other people.

BUY FRAGILE DREAMS

  • Though a bit slow-paced and flawed in combat, its tight IR controls, clever visual presentation, atmospheric score and sound design, and quirky characters more than make up for its flaws: it creates an artistic endeavor.

I had to buy this game for 40 dollars. 20 bucks is a very nice deal.

  • Please buy this please.

I was just about to order when I decided to double check my own collection, and low and behold, I already own it. Another game just waiting for me to get through some of my backlog, but with Last Story still unplayed, and Pandora and Soul Hackers on the near horizon, I’m not sure when I’ll actually get to it.

    • Play Last Story before this, but play this too.

I always wanted to play this one, but could never get my hands on it. And now I finally find it for an amazing price, and they don’t sell to my country. But one day I will play it.

  • MINE

  • I saw this game, and I have never regretted waiting for it to come out. Agreed, the combat is not the strongest part of it, but it has such detail to ambience and character that, if you’re a story-driven gamer, it will be a very comfortable addition to your library. Too bad I already own it… I’m happy to hear there’s renewed interest in it, though!

  • If I’m not mistaken, this game has been listed on their store for $20 for a long time now. Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s a great price, but I don’t think this is a sale or a reduction–they’re just reminding people that they have it and that it’s inexpensive.

Thomas is right, I bought Fragile Dreams about two or three years ago, brand new for $20 at Gamestop. This is not a new price.
