This week’s Nintendo Download is a little more fabulous than usual. Not only is the digital version of Style Savvy: Trendsetters ($39.99) available on the eShop, but we also get Sparkle Snapshots 3D ($5.99), a camera app that lets you use several effects on your pictures, like backgrounds, wallpapers, and other stuff. For everyone else, the 3DS Virtual Console gets another NES title in the form of Gradius ($4.99), WiiWare gets Reel Fishing Ocean Challenge (500 points) and DSiWare gets Puzzler World XL ($4.99/500 points).

Finally, Style Savvy: Trendsetters isn’t the only retail game available on the eShop today. Mario Kart 7, Star Fox 64 3D, Super Mario 3D Land, and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D have all been released on the eShop for $39.99 a piece. Of course, all four of these games can be purchased on Amazon (new) for less than their digital counterparts, but I guess it’s good to have options!

About Kyle Emch

Kyle has been studying music at college for about three years now. He's played the piano since he was 6 years old and has been recently been learning how to write music. He has followed the Operation Rainfall movement on Facebook since it started and was happy to volunteer for the website. Just don't mention Earthbound or the Mother franchise around him.

  • On the digital copy stuff, it’s worse when the prices for them are equaled to retail copies in LOCAL markets. In my country, Mexico, all those $40 dollar games are sold at retail for about $799 pesos, approximately $60 dollars, so Nintendo is selling those digital copies for $60 dollars for us. Absolutely insane! Console-wise, Sony is the only one who is ahead of them, specially with the Digital Day 1 program.

    • I know that feel bro. In Brazil the games are being sold for R$150,00 which converts to roughly $75. The worst part is that I can easily find the retail copies for around R$120,00 so yeah, right now the digital copies’ prices are just wrong.

  • Pokemon Games on the 3DS Virtual Console!  Yeah, I’m still waiting for them.

  • Style Savvy on the DS was fun.  I’d be up for more of that.
