Namco Bandai has released a new character trailer for Tales of Symphonia Chronicles, this time focusing on Regal Bryant, the party’s brooding tycoon-figure who fights with his feet and shares a tragic past.
Like what we saw in the Colette, Sheena, Genis, and Presea videos, the Regal trailer shares snippets of key moments from when you first meet him to different scenes that demonstrate his character, with character’s theme track in the background. Afterwards, we see his fighting style against enemies, but we do not get to see the high-powered attack and cut-in image art combination like we have with the previous characters.
You can watch the trailer below:
From what is seen in the trailer, the new visual style brings out a lot of the color and personality in Kosuke Fujishima’s character designs that made them memorable in the Gamecube and PlayStation 2 versions. Even in its less playful moments, the game looks like a treat many Tales of Symphonia fans will enjoy as Namco Bandai celebrates the game’s 10th anniversary.
Tales of Symphonia Chronicles, the high-definition remaster of the original Tales of Symphonia and its spin-off/sequel, Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, on Nintendo Wii, will be available next spring in North America and Europe for PlayStation 3. It is currently available for pre-order on Amazon for North American audiences. Meanwhile in Japan, the game will be available on October 10, 2013.
