Sony announced today three new PS Vita games coming to North America and Europe from their Japan Studio: Soul Sacrifice Delta, Freedom Wars and Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines. We have no confirmed release date for Freedom Wars or Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines as of yet. Soul Sacrifice Delta will be available on May 13th.
Co-developed with Comcept and Marvelous AQL and featuring new Archfiends, arenas, spells and more, Soul Sacrifice Delta is the sequel to Soul Sacrifice. The graphics engine has been optimized and the game features some dynamic arenas with weather effects and changes during battle. The spell system has been refined for deeper gameplay and character customization has been jazzed up as well. Players can now mix custom parts and accessories. If you have save data from Soul Sacrifice, it will carry over to Soul Sacrifice Delta, including your story progression, costumes, offerings sigils, black rites, life/soul essence and up to 10,000 lacrima.
In Freedom Wars prisoners face a million year sentence… that was set at birth! Play as a prisoner who is forced to fight for their freedom with up to four friends via Ad-Hoc or eight players online. As you fight to free the civilians, you are rewarded with time off your sentence in hopes that you will one day be free. Customize your weapon load-outs and your character in Freedom Wars, releasing sometime later this year! We’ll keep you up to date when a release date is known.
Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines is an RPG that puts you in charge of a cursed ancient Japanese clan. They have a lifespan of 2 years and you must help them lift this curse. Doing so requires strengthening each new generation of the clan with the help of Gods inspired by Japanese Mythology. Game Producer Tomoyo Kimura has stated that the game looks “even more fantastic on the PS Vita screen!” and that more details will be available soon. Stay tuned!
