The president of Nippon Ichi Software (NIS), Sohei Niikawa, spoke to someone from gaming website Joystiq at Tokyo Game Show 2013. In the discussion, he mentioned he was interested in creating more anime based on some of their games and more games based on anime. He later mentioned how he would like to “try again” with a Disgaea anime series. He said that when they attempted to do so before, the actual drawings for the anime were not well-received.
NIS has been responsible for many JRPGs over the years, especially strategy RPGs. Other than the Disgaea series, they are known for games like Makai Kingdom: Chronicles of the Sacred Tomb, La Pucelle Tactics, Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure, Z.H.P. Unlosing Ranger VS Darkdeath Evilman and, more recently, The Guided Fate Paradox. So, which of these NIS titles would you like to see adapted into an anime?
