(Japan) Hyperdimension Neptunia U, which some of you were thinking would be a Wii U game, has been announced, but not for the system you thought. This is a PS Vita title. It’s an action spin-off of the Neptunia series that will launch in Japan on August 28th. The retail version will be ¥6,800, while the limited edition will be ¥7,980. No pricing information is currently available for the digital version. We’ll keep you updated as we know more about that. According to Dengeki’s report, there will be Neptune, Noire, Blanc, Vert, and a new Dengeki mascot, Dengekiko.
Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II still doesn’t have a system or release date, but a few other details were announced. The story will span from three different dimensions and feature a couple of new characters. (Ed. Note: The translation of the correct dimension names is coming along slowly as we’re all trying to make sense of the literal translation. We’ll update this once we have more information.) One new character, Uzume Tenousei, sports red pigtails and carries a megaphone, and another was seen with blonde pigtails. Neptune, who is fully grown and can’t become a Goddess because she is different from the Neptune in Hyperdimension, will appear, too.
