An awesome looking collector’s Legend of Zelda strategy guide box set is now available for pre-order on Amazon, featuring Prima Official Game Guides for the six most recent games. If you’re willing to to pay the current Amazon price of $152.99 (USD) then don’t wait to pre-order this collection! Since this limited edition set will only be printed once, now’s the time to secure your copy. The set will feature guides for the following games:
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D (3DS)
- The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (DS)
- The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (DS)
- The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker (GameCube) – check out our impression of the upcoming Wind Waker HD
- The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (GameCube, Wii)
- The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (Wii) – check out our review of the game for more details
With such a huge lineup, this collection is looking to be pretty promising. All six guides will be hardcover and printed on high quality paper with gilded edges. If you’ve already picked up the guide for Skyward Sword, don’t fret! This will be a revised and updated version of the original guide and will be expanded by over 100 pages.
In addition to the guide books, the set comes with a high quality Zelda themed box, complete with a magnetic clasp. It also contains a metallic, laser etched bookmark and a numbered certificate of authenticity signed by none other than Eiji Aonuma. If you’re still not convinced, it’s also worth noting that this is the first time the guide for Ocarina of Time 3D has been released in hardcover, and it will be exclusive to this set.
All in all, this looks like a pretty nice collection, and would be perfect to pair with your copy of Hyrule Historia. The box set is scheduled for release on November 26th of this year. If you’re dying for more Legend of Zelda in the mean time, Operation Rainfall has you covered. Check out our MOSAIC piece on the series and our impression of the upcoming A Link Between Worlds. And be sure to read the Operation Rainfall Origins pieces on Zelda games and the Building Character editorial on Anju and Kafei.
Hopefully that’s enough reading material to tide you over until this box set is released. If you have the chance, be sure to pre-order it on Amazon or pick up your copy of Hyrule Historia:
