Nippon Ichi Software has announced htoL #NiQ: Hotaru no Nikki for the PlayStation Vita. It will be a download title for 3,086 yen in Japan, and have a limited retail edition with a special box, artbook, soundtrack and tin badges for 5,800 yen.
You control a firefly that guides Mion in Hotaru no Nikki. In World of Light, you control a firefly and guide Mion from place to place through obstacles. World of Shadow is about the same thing except you control a shadow firefly and the obstacles are shadows. You can remove objects from the stage to complete levels. In Traps in the Ruin Shadows, there are mysterious enemies seemingly visible only from the shadow perspective. Mion dies if you are caught and there are traps waiting to surprise you.
