While we’ve known that the PlayStation 3 version of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster would be coming in March of next year, details about the Vita version have been mysteriously under wraps. Well, no longer, as today, Square Enix has announced that the Vita version will launch simultaneously with the PlayStation 3 release on March 18 in the Americas, March 20th in Australia, and March 21st in Europe. At retail, Final Fantasy X will be a physical copy, bundled with a digital voucher for Final Fantasy X-2, rather than trying to sell the game separately as they did in Japan.
Additionally, there will be a collector’s edition of the PS3 game, but it will only be available from Square Enix’s online store. The Collector’s Edition will be wrapped in a hardcover artbook. The book will feature forty pages of artwork of Spira, the world explored in Final Fantasy X and X-2. The package will also include a Final Fantasy X HD Remaster Original Soundtrack on a Blu-ray disc. It will be available for $79.99 on March 18th 2014.
Square Enix also released some Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster gameplay videos to YouTube. Have a look.
