Last week, developer Renegade Kid launched a Kickstarter campaign for their episodic survival horror game, Cult County. Today, they revealed some of the early gameplay footage for the game. While it doesn’t show off any character interaction or battle, it does show off the atmosphere of the game. Check it out:

They also released a blooper video yesterday from their Kickstarter video:

Cult County is an episodic first-person survival horror game. Development originally started on the 3DS, but moved away from it as Renegade Kid (developers of Mutant Mudds, Dementium, and Moon) began to add more to their initial vision. Being developed on the Unity engine, they hope to release the game on PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Wii U, Xbox One, and on PC through Steam. They also hope to bring the game back to the 3DS (though it would need to be rebuilt with their proprietary 3DS engine) and the Xbox 360 ($640,000 stretch goal; will require a third-party to publish the game).
Currently, the campaign isn’t going so well. They raised about $28,000 as of this writing, which is about 5% of their funding goal of $580,000. They still have 22 days to raise that money.
