Atlus released more gameplay footage for Vanillaware’s upcoming 2-D side scrolling hack-and-slash, Dragon’s Crown, which they uploaded to game’s official Japanese website. The first two videos demonstrate the mounts that you can acquire in the levels alone and unmounted, or from defeated enemies. Showing that the game will have a variety of mounts, each including their own special attributes and abilities.
The third video shows one of the Wizard’s magical abilities with Rune Magic when finding Rune Letters on walls, allowing him to open a secret passage for himself and his companions. All of the levels will have numerous secrets and multiple pathways when progressing, or to access treasure you wouldn’t normally come across. You can check out all the videos below.
Dragon’s Crown is a PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita exclusive, and will released in Japan next month on the 25th. It is slated for release in North America on August 6 of this year.
