To those of you who are as excited about this upcoming anime project as I am, this news should definitely please. The upcoming anime project from the studio David Production, the same studio behind Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, has released a trailer for Hyperdimension Neptunia: The Animation. And while the trailer may not offer a whole lot in terms of seeing the animation itself in progress, it offers some. And that’s enough to make a few early judgement calls. Here, check out the trailer:
Now just taking a first look at this, I’m still pretty excited, though maybe not as much as before. From the trailer you can tell which scenes seem to have been budgeted higher, and what all they might have spent their money on. Not to say that they aren’t the best places to have spent the money, for sure. Battle scenes and scenes with Purple Heart in general seem to have stronger animation, which is pretty much how it should be anyway. That, and the music is stellar. Hyperdimension Neptunia: The Animation is definitely something to look out for. What story the show is going to follow, and whether or not it is going to be based on any of the games has yet to be seen, so keep your eyes out for new information on Hyperdimension Neptunia: The Animation!
