Just when I say the colonies aren’t getting a sale, this pops up. Best Buy is having a $50 off sale for the Basic Set Wii U. Remember, this is the version with 8gb of memory and no game. My speculation is that Best Buy overestimated the appeal of the Basic Set, and are now trying to get rid of stock. After all, when I get a Wii U, I want the Deluxe Edition, and I’m fairly certain that’s the norm. But perhaps if this sale does well, Nintendo will cut price on the hardware. We all know they need SOMETHING to bring up sales.
