Sega Teases Upcoming “Judgement Day” Announcement

Developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and publisher Sega have launched a new countdown website for “Judgement Day“. The site teases an announcement that is coming on May 7th at 7:00am PT (10:00am ET). The site is available in a number of languages, including English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, and Chinese (both traditional and simplified).

The mysterious upcoming announcement could be related to the “Lost Judgement” trademark Sega filed in Japan last month, though this has not been confirmed.

Set in Kamurocho, Tokyo, Judgement was a spin off of the Yakuza Series, which first launched in Japan for the PlayStation 4 back in December of 2018. A worldwide launch took a bit longer to materialize, releasing by June of 2019. Finally, a new remastered version has just launched for Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 5, and Stadia.
